Research On Deng Xiaoping's Thoughts About Social Fairness

Deng Xiaoping's thoughts about social fairness is an important part of Deng Xiaoping Theory,which has been put forward by summarizing the practices in China based on inheritance and development of the views of fairness of Marx and Mao Zedong,featuring Chinese characteristics.It's an important guiding ideology for us to construct harmonious society and realize social fairness with practical significances.Along with the advance of socialist modernization,especially the continuous deepening of the construction of a socialist harmonious society,social fairness plays an increasingly important role.As the general designer of the reform and opening up and the socialist modernization,Deng Xiaoping had made a lot of incisive and in-depth discussions about the views of social fairness.Therefore,as faced with a situation with serious social fairness problems such as unbalanced development among different areas and between urban areas and rural areas,increasing income difference between different classes,etc.,reviewing Deng Xiaoping's thoughts about social fairness,out of question,has significant and immediate values in both theoretical and practical aspects.This paper starts from the contents and principles of Deng Xiaoping's thoughts about social fairness.First,the theoretical origin,historical background and course of formation of Deng Xiaoping's thoughts about social fairness are analyzed.Then this paper dissects Deng Xiaoping's thoughts about social fairness comprehensively and thoroughly,from fundamental realization approach and ultimate goal.Deng Xiaoping's thoughts about social fairness argues that: the socialist road should be persisted with focusing on economic construction and vigorously developing productivity;the dominant role of public ownership and distribution on the basis of labor should be persisted;the rich first should push on those being rich later to realize common prosperity;efficiency and fairness should be integrated and mutual promote each other,and;advocating common prosperity and objecting to polarization.State institution and laws should be perfected to safeguard a real social fairness.Deng Xiaoping's thoughts about social fairness features openness,affinity to the people and dialectics.It can not only provide insight to solve various problems in our society,but also enable fast development of our economy,thus to provide an economic foundation to realize real social fairness in China at present.
