In the international community, the polarization of the social class has always been a topic of great concern. The country's internal stability has important influence on the country's domestic and foreign affairs. The polarization of the classes is one of the key factors affecting the stability of a society. In this paper, the South Korean society as an example, using Marx's class theory as a guide,in the background of the 1997 financial crisis swept across Asia, with quantitative analysis method and inductive deductive method, analytic hierarchy changes in South Korean society, explored the influencing factors and the polarization phenomenon intensified,to further demonstrate the instability of the Korean social class' s impact on South Korea's domestic and foreign policy. The 1997 Asian financial crisis,in South Korea known as the "IMF" event, burst the hopes of the people who thought they could live a good life by working hard. This exacerbated the economic gap between the productive class and the proletariat. The deepening economic divide is rapidly expanding, and is bound to have a direct impact on the lives of the people, such as the concentration and curing of residential areas. The middle class continues to sink into the lower class. As a result of this kind of deep differentiation, the contradiction and opposition between the two classes are formed, which is an important factor affecting the social stability of South Korea. The formation of this polarization brings a lot of challenges to South Korea's domestic and foreign affairs. The class differentiation has formed a huge underclass and a handful of elite people.Due to the influence of public opinion, the history of South Korea as the first opposition party to the Kim Dae-Jung administration's policy is more focused on reducing gap between the two classes. On the other hand, domestic social instability in South Korea's foreign policy, also had a lot of influence, the South Korean government more actively seeking cooperation in the international community, improve the domestic situation and broken ease domestic public pressure to look forward to.At the same time, along with the "sunshine policy" introduced,North and South Korea relations were also easing up.
