Hannah·Arendt's Return Of Human Plurality

Among the contemporary western political ideologists,Hannah Arendt is a great personality.She is one of the few female ideologists in human ideological history;she tried to transcend traditional western political philosophy since Plato;she claimed not in accordance with the ideology to precede independent thinking.Arendt concerned about real political problems,concerned about current affairs,and participated in the public discussion,but never tried to construct a set of systematic theory.Her ideology is thorough thinking for 20 th century human basic sufferings and basic experiences,full of deep concern for human fate.This article attempts to understand Arendt's political concept,on the basis of vast history to master Arendt's theory of plurality era background,pursuit the historical facts of plurality destroyed by totalitarian,and from the action,freedom and public three dimensions to illustrate the human diversity theory,call for the return of the human plurality.In this sense,Arendt gives high value to politics.In this common world,each person has a different position,has a different perspective,focus on the same object,giving their position and point of view.Finally,the article will makes multi-angle evaluation to human's diversity theory,trying to find the theory's value and significance in today's era.This article is divided into five chapters: Chapter 1 is about era background of plurality,which includes two parts: social background of plurality and theoretical background of plurality.It's mainly explored historical origin and theoretical origin of plurality this core vocabulary put forward by Arendt.This is the base we research Arendt.Chapter 2 discusses the plurality and its destroy,which is divided into two sections “concept of plurality and destroy of plurality”.This chapter mainly defines concept,and put forward a totalitarian regime is modern political system to destroy the plurality,which leads to Arendt to focus on the cause of the phenomenon of totalitarianism.Chapter 3 from action,freedom and public sphere three dimensions to describe the plurality.Include three sections: “ plurality and action”,“plurality and freedom”,“plurality and public sphere”.This part is describing the significance ofplurality in the field of action,freedom and public sphere.Chapter 4 calls for the return of plurality,divided into three sections “system premise of plurality”,“the virtue basis of plurality” and “the public space of plurality”.This part mainly discuss how plurality return.Chapter 5 discusses the theory of plurality,including “the rationality of plurality theory”,“the limitations of plurality theory” and “plurality theory for the enlightenment of our era”.This part based on the theory of multi-angle comparison and evaluation,make us better understand the plurality concept,significance,limitations.
