This paper based on the investigation of the employment status of disabled persons in Liwan District of Guangzhou City, used the documents and interviews mainly, studied the reasons for the employment problems of persons with disabilities in Liwan District from macro, meso, micro dimensions, and finally proposed solutions to solve the employment problems of persons with disabilities.The full paper is divided into five parts:The introduction mainly describes that the employment of persons with disabilities in Liwan District of Guangzhou City has made some progress after the reform and opening up, but there are still many areas for improvement. The introduction points out that the purpose and significance of this research, then defines basic concepts of the paper.,it reviews and summarizes the relevant research at home and abroad. Finally, the paper describes the theories ,the research object, research methods, research ideas.The first chapter describes the employment status of disabled persons in Liwan District of Guangzhou City, then mainly describes employment problems of disabled persons in Liwan District of Guangzhou City. Employment problems mainly include: Employment rate is low; Employment scope is narrow; Employment level is not high; Employment stability is poor; Income level of employment is low; Cognitive level of employment is low.The second Chapter analyes the reasons of employment problems of disabled persons in Liwan District from micro, meso and macro levels.Reasons of macro level mainly include: Social discrimination and social exclusion; The work of Federation of the Disabled and related agencies is difficult. Reasons of meso level mainly include: The employment in community is not sufficient; Mutual support within groups of the disabled is not enough. Reasons of micro level mainly include: Parents are lack of capacity; The relationship between relatives and persons with disabilities is indifferent, the relationship between friends and people with disabilities is indifferent; The disabled’s adaptive ability is not strong.The third chapter proposed the coping strategies to the problem of employment for persons with disabilities in Liwan District. Against reasons of three different levels mentioned in the second chapter, proposes solutions to these employment problems of persons with disabilities in Liwan District from the macro, meso and micro levels. Measures of macro level mainly include: Strengthen the correct guidance of public opinion; Improve functions of Federation of the Disabled and the related organizations. Measures of meso level mainly include: The community helps the disabled with employment through various channels; Enhance internal cohesion of groups of .the disabled Measures of micro level mainly include: Enhance the ability of parents to make full use of various resources; Strengthen attention and support of the family and friends for persons with disabilities; Improve the adaptive ability of people with disabilities in all aspects.The conclusion sums up the research condition of the paper, then explains for the limitations of this paper, intend to improve in the future study.
