A Review To Current Studies On Organic Marxism

The organic Marxism as a new trend,current and idea of Foreign Marxism deviating from post-modernism,which names itself the Organic Marxism,has captured wide and warm attention from those Chinese scholars who are engaged in Marxism since its birth.Domestic scholars have been operating a careful research and discussion based on concept clarification,content analysis,root-branch relationship,opinion position,etc.On the cornerstone of uncovering the conceptual connotation of Organic Marxism,many of domestic scholars have made fruitful achievements from the perspectives of comprehending the relationship between Organic Marxism,Whitehead's Process Philosophy and Ecological Marxism,understanding the referential meaning of Organic Marxism to ecological wisdom,procedural thought and viewpoint of “seek truth from facts and practice”in Chinese culture,better exploring the Marxist value and contemporary critiques within the Organic Marxism by setting Organic Marxism into the coordinate system of Marxism,and employing Organic Marxism as the new paradigm of Foreign Marxism research.However,it is noteworthy that although the existing achievements are timely and sufficient,Organic Marxism,as an ascending academic school which has caused some “shocking” effect especially on China,is worth carefully concluding and rational clarifying.To evaluate the development of Organic Marxism in China reasonably on one hand will reflect the existence and study of the research discipline of Foreign Marxism,and on the other hand present the contemporary value of Organic Marxism research in reflecting on and solving problems in China from the practical perspective.
