Study On The Publicity And Education Of Jiefang Daily During The Anti-Japanese War

The publicity and education to the people is an important part of ideological and political education of the Chinese Communist Party. Anti-Japanese War period, Jiefang Daily, the "mouthpiece" of the Party, was a powerful weapon to mobilize the mass to actively resist aggression. Jiefang Daily effectively propagated the party’s lines, principles and policies,reflected people’s voice and closely linked the party’s flesh-and-blood ties with the people thus made a significant contribution to the victory of Anti-Japanese Was.In addition to the introduction, this article contains three parts: the first part introduces thefoundation and the revising backgroound of Jiefang Daily. At the beginning period, the Jiefang Daily had some deficiencies. After revision the Jiefang Daiy had notable effect on mass propaganda and education. The second part is the study on the content and characteristics of mass propaganda and education of the revised Jiefang Daily. The main content includes the education of Marxist theory; the education of the party ’s line,principles and policies; the situation and policy education; the patriotism education and the democracy and rule of law education. The main features are: the content is close to people;the language is easy to understand; the forms are flexible and the art is moving. The third part is the historical practical inspiration to the party of the Jiefang Daily ’s propaganda and education. To correctly implement the party’s propoganda and education on people, we have to insist on combining the theoretical propaganda and the practical needs of people; to combine the content’s univesility and typicality together.
