A Study On The Issues Of New Professional Farmers Cultivation From The Perspective Of Agricultural Continuing Education

With the acceleration of urbanization and citizenization in China,more and more relatively higher human resources in rural areas have came into the urban,people stayed in the rural and working in agriculture long-term were women,children and the aged,it led to land abandoned and no one willing to farming.The development of modem agriculture must require a high quality of modem farmers.Since the No.l Central Document of 2012 put forward to cultivate new professional farmers,the following all underlined to improve the quality of farmers and cultivate new professional farmers,it was not only the requirement to promote the moderm agriculture of our country,but also the talent guarantee for New Countryside Construction.Agricultural continuing education aims to supplement and improve farmers’ agricultural knowledge and technology,it’s an important way to cultivate new professional farmers.This paper is divided into five parts:The first chapter introduced research background and literature review.The second chapter defined the basic concepts,explained basis theories of this paper:human capital theory and demand levels theory by Maslow.The third chapter analyzed the relationship between the new professional farmers and the agricultural continuing education,then summarized the group characteristics of the new professional farmers and culture significance,pointed out that the agricultural continuing education is the necessary means to cultivate new professional farmers,and also the practical needs of self-development for farmers.Based on the descriptive analysis of research in some areas of Jiangsu Province,the forth chapter introduced the current situation of the cultivation of new professional farmers,pointed out the problems existing in the cultivation of new professional fanners and reasons from the economic,social and other aspects.In the fifth chapter,the paper analyzed the case of Changshu City by the interview records,to increase the practical guiding significance.Finally,several strategies were given:cultivate young people as the new professional farmer,invest more money in cultivation,accelerate the land transfer,promote the scale of land,develop agricultural management and other famers,increase farmers’ income,promote the basic equalization of regional education and training,and promote the transformation of secondary vocational education in rural areas etc.From the perspective of agricultural continuing education and the problem in cultivation of new professional farmers,analyzed the reasons from economy,society and other aspects,eombined with the method of ease analysis,the paper hopes to give scientific and reasonable strategies.
