An Analysis On The Current Situation About China-Australia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership

China-Australia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership is one of the most important bilateral relations in the world.Since the establishment of China-Australia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in 2014,China and Australia have made a series of new progress,but there are still some problems.The future direction of China-Australia comprehensive strategic partnership is a strategic issue that the leaders of the two countries pay close attention to this issue.Therefore analyzing on the current situation about China-Australia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership is of great significance to promote bilateral relations.This paper chooses the China-Australia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership as the research object.This paper analyzes the achievements of the cooperation between China and Australia by taking comprehensive strategic partnership's established.Then this paper founds that there are many achievements between China and Australia.By adjusting each other politically,they have established the China-Australia Prime Minister annual regular meeting mechanism,diplomatic and strategic dialogue,strategic economic dialogue and so on.They have established more than 30 intergovernmental consultation mechanisms.The Chinese and Australian governments will also establish a China-Australia Innovation Dialogue Mechanism,the Sino-Australian Energy Ministerial Dialogue Mechanism and the China-Australia High-level Security Dialogue Mechanism.Australia will also set up a consulate in Shenyang.The two sides are interdependent on economy aspect.They have achieved fruitful results.China is Australia's largest trading partner,export destination and source of imports.The two sides also announced that they will start the Sino-Australian tax treaty revision work in 2018.China and Australia also exchange vigorous development on culture aspect.China and Australia successfully intervene in the cultural year.What's more,“Australia heat" and "China fever" in the two countries continue to heat up.China is Australia's largest source of tourism revenue,and Australia ranks second in China's overseas study destination.They also strengthen the non-traditional security cooperation,and "small pace" try to accumulate the policy of mutual trust between China and Australia.Although China and Australia have achieved good results,the development of Sino-Australian relationship still exists some problems.Its reasons may lie on the international system,such as the change in the Asia-Pacific,the impact of US-Australia Trade Agreements,the development of the US-Australia alliance and the impact of the rise of China.On Australian aspect,the political impact of Australia's domestic level and trade asymmetry has become a factor in the further development of Sino-Australian relations.These have become main factors on the development of Sino-Australian relations.In order to promote the development of China-Australia comprehensive strategic partnership,the two sides should fully understand the problems in cooperation and seek a positive response.First,China and Australia should focus on the common interests.They need to maintain and develop the common interests.Second,China and Australia need to deepen the economic ties based on the “The Belt and Road”.In addition,China and Australia should continue to promote and strengthen cultural exchanges.Last but not least,China and Australia must focus on strengthening the security cooperation in the future.
