Research On The Ideological Construction Of Student Party Branches In Colleges And Universities Under The New Situation

As an important part of the grassroots organization of Party committees in colleges and universities,the student Party branch is a significant bridge for the Party to closely connect with the young students,as well as the important base for cultivating qualified socialist builders and reliable successors with an all-round development of morality,intelligence,physics and arts.Under the new historical condition,the key to deeply carry out theoretical and practical research on the ideological construction of the Party branch of college students and further strengthen and improve the ideological and political construction of Party branches in colleges and universities,is to continuously strengthen and consolidate the guiding position of Marxism in the field of ideology,regard the strengthening of the Party's ideological construction as the fundamental content of Party building,and take upholding and developing Marxism as the eternal theme of the Party's ideological construction.As the most primary organization of the Party in colleges and universities,the student Party branch is directly responsible for developing student party members and carrying out ideological and political education of students in colleges and universities.It is most closely related to the students and has the most direct effect on them.Therefore,doing well in the ideological construction of the student Party branches in colleges and universities is of great practical importance to help college students to establish and strengthen the correct political orientation,correctly understand,analyze and deal with complex social phenomena and improve the cultivation of Party spirit and the spiritual realm of student Party members.To do well in the ideological construction of the student Party branches in colleges and universities,we should adhere to the basic principles of people-oriented,the cultivation of Party spirit,system innovation and cooperated education,and make every efforts to implement the following four points: firstly,promote theoretical level,and emphasize on the leading level of theoretical subjects related with Marxism in student Party branches in colleges and universities;secondly,strengthen political consciousness,and focus on the importance of the ideological construction of the student Party branches in colleges and universities;thirdly,strictly reinforce team construction and establish a strong main force for the ideological construction of student Party branches in colleges and universities;fourth,innovate educational method,and actively make use of the Internet to win the battle of the ideological construction of student Party branches in colleges and universities.In this thesis,the author reviews the major research achievements of ideological construction of student Party branches in colleges and universities in the past five years,summaries the significance and theoretical support for strengthening the ideological construction of student Party branches in colleges and universities,and defines the general requirements of the ideological construction of student Party branches in colleges and universities from the four aspects of “new normal”,that is,an all-out effort to enforce strict Party discipline,comprehensive reform of higher education,innovation of Party construction in colleges and universities and characteristics of college students' development.The author analyzes the status of the construction of student Party branches in colleges and universities at present: the mainstream ideology is stable,positive,healthy and upward,and the problems are mainly in the lack of ideals and beliefs of some student Party members,the weakened cohesive force of the Party branches and so on.Finally,from the perspectives of top-level design,basic mode and construction pattern,the author discusses the countermeasures of practically strengthening the ideological construction of student Party branches in colleges and universities.
