Research On Social Integration Mechanism Of New Knowledge-based Immigrants From The Perspective Of Strong Order And Weak Ties

Since the reform and opening up,with the rapid development of the national economy,people achieve geographical movement because of work,marriage and other factors,which making cross-regional population flow more and more common,and gradually becoming an important social phenomenon.New immigrants as an important force in urban construction play an important role in the development of the city.Their social integration problem at the destination is not only related to the survival and development of new immigrants,but also related to the construction of the city.It is also an important part in city management.It shows the true status of the city in aspects of social,economic and culture.This study takes the new knowledge-based immigrants of Shenzhen City as the research object,takes the social integration of new immigrants as the research topic,mainly uses the literature research method combined with the case study method,collecting the social integration data of the knowledge-based new immigrants in Shenzhen,focusing on the daily life outside the grand narrative,to study the new type of social integration of knowledge-based immigrants.Through the case study with new immigrants,we describe new immigrants’ social integration status from shallow to deep,in the aspects of their basic life,cultural and psychology,development needs.Thus summarizes the characteristics of different dimensions of Shenzhen new immigrants in their social integration,which found that the social order and social relations network facing the "strong order weak ties" situation.The construction of the "strong order-weak ties" comes from the open social policy,the rapid development of the social economy,the social division of labor,the pluralistic cultural structure and the high human capital of the members of the society and other factors,showing the characteristics as normative social trust,equal opportunities,low interpersonal costs and integration barriers.The individual’s social integration of the status quo is also affected.In particular,the normative social trust brought by open policies and sound social systems provides the basis for the social integration of new immigrants;the development of market economy enables the spirit of freedom and justice to be embodied,providing a fair and equitable social atmosphere,is the prerequisite for the realization of social integration of new immigrants.The low interpersonal cost under the "strong order-weak ties" stimulates the principle of individual’s ability to adhere to its ability,which is the driving force of social integration;perfect social system and normative The weak dependence on "human" in the weak network also reduces the social integration threshold of floating population and reduces the difficulty of social integration,which is the key to realize social integration.But also can not deny the "strong order-weak ties" for the negative impact of the new immigrant social integration,its "human" weakening makes the social network of immigrant groups become relatively alienated and indifferent,resulting in immigrant groups psychological high loneliness,to a certain extent,has become an obstacle to its social integration.
