Research On The States Quo And Approaches Of Ideological And Political Guidance Of Non-party Intellectuals In Colleges And Universities

Since the 18 th CPC National Congress,the CPC represented by General Secretary Xi Jinping,attaches great importance to the united front work,points out that the united front is an important step for winning new victories of the Socialism with Chinese characteristics,puts forward some important ideas and makes a majority of important strategic deployment to chart the course for the further work.As a special field in the united front work of CPC,the work conducted in universities has been playing a significant role in the holistic work and being one of the bases of the whole united front work for the Party.Additionally,it is the premise and basis to achieve the continuous and coordinated development of higher education,and build a harmonious campuses.More importantly,because non-party intellectuals are featured by the large numbers,the high level,the great influence on and wide contaction with others,colleges and universities have been calledthe “talent pool”and “meticulous”.As the important object of united front work,the work on the non-party intellectuals is the basic and strategic work,which requires strengthening the main line of the non-party intellectuals' ideological and political guidance.With the deepening of our country's social transformation period and reform period,the ideological and political guidance work of the non-party intellectuals in colleges and universities is facing great challenges.What is the status quo of the ideological and political guidance work? What do the possible problems lie in? And how to solve them? We are plagued by such kind of questions.The paper form the perspective of the ideological and political guidance work of non-Party intellectuals in colleges and universities,taking the individual cases of YNNU,to probe these problems.The paper consists of three parts: part one is the background information.Based on the collection of some predecessors' researchresults,the author depicts the related conception,analyzes the characteristics of the ideological and political guidance work of the non-Party intellectuals in colleges and universities,and describes its significance;part two is the analysis of status quo,which is based on the actual research to dig out the problems and their related reasons;part three is mainly about some measures taken in view of the problems existing in the ideological and political guidance work of non-Party intellectuals in colleges and universities.
