A Study On The Public Credibility Of The Police And The Strategy To Improve It

Functions of the government credibility construction are the key of the current government work.As an important functional department,the police should pay attention to improve credibility.The police credibility is the core of the public credit system;it is one of the important factors,the behaviors of police directly related to the unity and stability of the whole society.However the police get more attention,the problems of police credibility emerged.Many deep-seated problems has not been fundamentally solved,there are still many loopholes and shortcomings in the process of the law enforcement.So study on the public credibility of the police and the improvements Strategies not only helping to improve the level of police and law enforcement capacity,but also enriching the government management theory.This study first generalizes the related literature analysis,location for the research on the empirical analysis,by adopting the combination of questionnaire survey and case interview method,the insiders and the outsiders of police system has carried on the investigation and interview,analyzing the current problems of the police credibility,.Based on the theory of public management from the perspectives of multiple puts forward some countermeasures to promote the police credibility.The main conclusions are as follows: The first is the system of law enforcement is not perfect,police officers abuse their power for selfish;Second,the law enforcement process is not transparent,lead to the public access to information,participation in decision-making,power of expression deprived;The third is to improve law enforcement main body quality,individual viewpoint of law enforcement personnel quality is low,the legal system is weak,bad attitude,violence law enforcement;Four is level with the public demands of law enforcement,the gap is too big,when the law enforcement process and the expected results with the public itself have a deviation,easy to cause the public dissatisfaction with law enforcement agencies.According to current situation of the public security organ law enforcement credibility proposed the following promotion countermeasures: first,perfecting the system construction;Second,perfecting supervision system;3 it is to improve the overall quality;Four is to strengthen the propaganda guidance.According to current situation of the public security organ law enforcement credibility proposed the following promotion countermeasures: First,perfecting the system construction;Second,perfecting supervision system;Three it is to improve the overall quality;Four is to strengthen the propaganda guidance.
