Temporal And Spatial Change And Analysis Of Theft Crime

In the age of peace,crime has become the first killer to threat social security,instead of war.With the deepening of crime study,criminologists and geographers have found that crime would follow certain rules and it is neither random nor accidental,No matter from the perspective of time and space distribution.So from the perspective of geography to study crime,show the spatial and temporal variations of crime,the relationship between criminal behavior and the space environment can be more intuitively analyzed.In this paper,the study area is dongying victory street agency and the object is all kinds of theft crime from 2014 to 2016,First using Geocoding technology,the spatialization of criminal address will be realized.Then using crime mapping and spatial analysis tools in GIS,The hotspots distribution,the development trend and the cause of theft crime will be analyzed and forecasted from two angles of time and space,according to the conclusion to set up the corresponding countermeasures.From the view of time,using the statistical method,the study found that theft crime increased by 35% than 14 years,15 years for 16 years increased by 24% than 15 years and all kinds of theft have different proportions of gains,the security situation is still no obvious improvement..From the view of space,the spatial distribution of the theft crime is obtained in the scatter plot by the crime mapping and spatial analysis tool of GIS.The spatial distribution of the crime is verified by the nearest neighbor index analysis method.By Nuclear density estimation method to identify the crime gathering area and to explore the causes of the crime hotspots,there are areas of high incidence of theft in Jinhua district,victory area where people are densely populated and in North Street Commercial Street,Jinhua market,victory hospital where residents’ activities are centered.Combining with the actual situation in various regions,the paper will propose the safety prevention.
