Since the reform and opening up,China's urbanization process has been accelerating, urban crime and related crimes caused by urbanization show a high incidence, which poses a huge challenge to social stability. It is the choice of most cities in China to realize the urbanization by merging the land around the city into the city. For example, the construction of Xiongan New Area by the state is typical to realize the urbanization in the area around the city by transferring the land around the city.YB District of L city, the research area of this paper,is a new area for urbanization development through land allocation. The crime data in the criminal cases of YB District of L city from 2013 to 2017 are taken as the research object.SPSS,Arc GIS,Python and other data analysis tools are used for data analysis to study the evolution rules of crime hotspots in the urbanization process of Area YB of L city. This paper first introduces the research background, research object and research content, and summarizes the research status at home and abroad. On the basis of understanding the relevant research at home and abroad and combining with the characteristics of crime data in Area YB of L city, the research technical route of this paper is formulated, and the key issues of this paper are put forward:The first is to study the evolution of hot spot types of crime.According to the data characteristics of crime cases in Area YB of L City, that are classified as four types of cases: cases of infringement of personal safety of citizens, cases of infringement of property, cases of endangering public traffic safety and other types of cases for data analysis,so as to explore the evolution law of hot types of crimes. The second is to study the hot spot time distribution of crime. From macro, meso and micro perspectives, the hot time of crime is studied from the scale of month, day and period. The third is to study the spatial distribution of hot spots in crime. From the density change of crime and the transfer of hot spots, the law of the spatial transfer of hot spots in crime is studied. The study found that during the five years from 2013 to 2017,the number of hot spots of crime in Area YB of L city showed a trend of increasing at first and then becoming stable. The number of cases of infringement of personal safety kept decreasing, while the number of cases of infringement of property and endangering public traffic safety increased rapidly. In terms of time, the number of cases in the first and second half of a month is much higher than that in the second half of a year.In terms of time, the number of cases in the daytime is much higher than that at night. In terms of spatial distribution, crime cases in YB District of L city show a stronger and stronger clustering, and crime clustering hotspots show a trend of clustering from multiple hotspots to a smaller number of hotspots, and show a trend of extending from southwest to northeast. The orientation of spatial distribution shows a weakening trend in the overall trend.Based on the analysis of crime hotspots and the situational crime prevention theory, this paper puts forward the strategies of crime hotspots prevention in Area YB of L city.
