Research On The Aging Service Agencies' Visual Design

China has already entered the aging society and it is a serious problem faced by current China.The core of the aging problem is how to solve the aging service with such numerous old people.the main provider of the aging service is the aging service agency,whose core is its service content and quality.This paper will take the good-quality aging service agency in Chongqing for example,find the problem existed in the aging service,and present a optimizing service scheme.Also it will discuss how to better the service quality of the aging service agency from the angle of design.The vision is the main sense organ for man to receive information and sense external environment.The old is declining in recognition of visual information and receptivity.However,the vision plays an important part in delivering information and interacting in the aging service.This paper will probe into the aging service from the angle of the vision and interaction design and discuss how to improve the aging service quality.Chongqing,one of the worst aging cities,exists so many problems with its uneven service quality.The researches on the aging service agency of Chongqing will provide a reference for improving the aging service quality in China.The author chooses four aging service agencies with more typical service model and better quality as objects to study and design.There are five parts in this paper.The first part will introduce the background of the aging service,research situation at home and abroad of the aging service design and innovation of this research topic.The second part shows present research situation of typical aging service agencies in Chongqing,and carries out detailed statements on investigation situation of three aging service agencies in Chongqing and sums up the main problem during the investigation from the older users,service content and contemporary visual system in nursing home.The third part discusses the possibilities of visual intervention in aging service and itsstrategies.It also analyzes the relation among vision and space,behavior,artifacts and service and puts forward three forms of visual intervention in aging service according to actual problems.The forth part,combined with the author's design case,analyzes how to practice the visual design of the aging service agencies.The last part shows the key points for further studies in aging service design and the prospect for the design intervention in aging service.
