Research On Domestic Intentional Homicide Among Close Relatives

At present,the frequently occurred family conflict and vicious cases jeopardizing the social harmony and stability should be taken seriously.Among them,the intentional homicide among close relatives not only breaks the law and family ethics,but also brings immeasurable losses to the parties and their families.Such cases always cause widespread concern in the judicial system,media and citizens,which fully explains the baneful influence.Therefore,it is meaningful and necessary to explore the causes of intentional homicide among close relatives,and then put forward specific solutions to safeguard family harmony and promote social harmony.This paper attempts to reveal the characteristics and causes of the intentional homicide among close relatives through statistically analyzing the criminal judgments in China for a period of time.Prevention and control of such crimes are based on the criminological study.This paper consists of four parts.The first part proposes the definition and particular scope of close relatives and the definition of notion of close relatives intentional homicide.Then,the significance of this study and the research methods used are demonstrated.The second part is the analysis of the characteristics of intentional homicide among close relatives,which are explored on account of the statistical analysis of the collected cases.The analysis of characteristics focuses on the victim mortality,gender,age,guilty factors,space distribution of crime,time of the incident,sentencing and other aspects.The third part is the analysis of the causes of intentional homicide among close relatives.After the characteristics study,the causes of such crimes are systematically analyzed mainly from the aspects of offenders,victims,families and society.The fourth part puts forward the prevention and countermeasure of intentional homicide among close relatives.Given the above characteristics and reasons,this thesis provides specific operational preventive measures from the perspective of society,family and individual.This article further improves the study of violent crime at the present stage,which may help to prevent and reduce the crime of intriguing homicide among relatives and other types of crimes and extremely violent crimes.This is also the enrichment of the empirical study of violence and inter-ethnic crime.
