Every country is becoming much closer since the development of world economy,which also leads to different kinds of crisis.Terrorism is one of them.Sports are regarded as the symbol of peace,and it is also become the target of terrorists for it being the media that has extensive influence.Terrorists make use of such characteristic to expand the influence of terrorist attacks and help to realize its political goals.Terrorist attacks enter sports events formally from 1972 Munich Olympic Games “black September” incident,in the next few decades,there is dozens of terrorist attacks to major sports events successively.The Summer Olympic Games,the biggest general sports event in the world,and the World Cup,the biggest individual sports event,had ever become the target of terrorist attacks.A series of terrorist attacks cast a shadow over major sports events.How to prevent the terrorist attacks is an important thing confronting to the hosts.There are no terrorist attacks to major sports event in China currently,but China,being a country with lots of nationalities and religions,has many unstable factors.Other aspects of terrorist attacks also remind us that we should never cast them aside so lightly.In recent years,China has held several major sports events successfully,but there are many deficiencies comparing to the advanced experiences and lessons in preventing terrorism abroad.Deficiencies are such as follows: the enforcement of anti-terrorism law of the Chinese People's Republic of China makes up the loopholes of terrorism law system,while the corresponding law shortages still exist.The lack in professional law of preventing terrorism to major sports events is a fact.Civil security forces are weak and few,professional tackling organizations are also few,the security works rely so much on the public security organs are another problems that trouble us.To sum up the experiences and lessons from foreign countries in preventing terrorist attacks to major sports events,and make up the shortages of laws and emergency reserve forces in preventing,will make full preparations for China to successfully hold the major sports events.
