The Reconstruction Of Rural Public Living Space

The farmer's economic income has been increasing since the reform and opening-up policy implemented.At the same time,their social way of communication is also underwent subtle changes.Rural public space is shrinking.This paper based on the investigation of the traditional public space in X village,we can see that political life gradually withdrew from the villagers' daily life content.With the employment relationship has become a part of agricultural production,mutual aid,the reduce of traditional agricultural production is given priority to the economic interests.Outlets are replaced by a new type of supermarket,but the public space has not been passed down.The rise of rural Taobao will further weaken the market role in public space;weddings and other ceremonies also be simplified.As the the villagers less interaction,rural public life form become more monotonous.The rise of square dance in rural areas has brought new vitality to the increasingly quiet rural life,as a new form of public life in the rural area,the square dance can provide what inspiration for the reconstruction of the rural public living space? In this study by means of participant observation and unstructured interviews,we found that the appearance of the new type public life is the result of the joint efforts of the government,the masses and the grass-roots social organizations.The government is the investor and the guide of the public space.The mass is the organizer and the participation power of the public life.The grass-roots social organizations in which plays the role of managers,coordinators.Therefore,the reconstruction of public living space in rural areas should be based on the government public service investment as the support,to the village endogenous needs as the driving force,and under the leadership of the village elite to promote the development and establishment of public life.The rural social organization should give full play to the resource integration and coordinating role to realize the government input and the interests of the effective docking.Suggestions from the following aspects to cultivate new rural public life.Firstly,strengthen the rural public service,and effectively respond to the needs of rural and problems.Secondly,using media force to guide the content and form of public life.Thirdly,exploring and cultivating the rural cultural backbone.And lastly rely on the existing rural social organization to management daily public life.
