Research On The Integrative Function Of China's Ideology

The well-functioning integration of state ideology is conducive to unity of the people,social stabilization and development,and thus is of strategic significance for the development of the whole country.This thesis,based on the research of the integrative function of China's state ideology and against the backdrop of China's socialist construction since its reform and opening-up initiative,provides a tentative analysis of the domestic and international challenges faced by China's state ideology and its own limitation,and tries to propose relevant solutions to bring into full play the integrative function of China's state ideology.The layout of this thesis includes an introduction,five chapters of main body and conclusions.Defining the concept and its features is the logical prerequisite for the research.Therefore,by exploring the origins and development of ideology,the thesis reviews ideology-related theories and ideas in Marxism,and defines the basic features of the integrative function of state ideology.In addition,based upon the theories about integrative function of state ideology proposed by writers of classical Marxism,this thesis absorbs ideas held by western Marxists regardingthe integrative function of state ideology.Based on the theory of national ideology integration,this paper tries to extend national ideological integration into politics,economy,culture and interests.Departing from domestic and international challenges,chapter four is an analysis on the difficulties faced by the integrative function of China's state ideology.These difficulties include not only challenges brought out by globalization,but also conflicts that arise from social restructuring and its own limits and deficiencies.In view of the difficulties mentioned above,this paper provides a tentative solution for the full play of the integrative function of state ideology,which includes the power expansion of China's state ideology,consolidation of the basis of integrative function of China's state ideology,and also the effective management of ideology.
