In the past 40 years since the reform and opening-up,China’s economic and social development has achieved remarkable achievements.From the international point of view,both the international status and international influence have increased a lot,and in the process of integration into the world,China actively participates in global governance,bears more international social responsibility actively,and to safeguard their own interests and at the same time to seek common development in bilateral and multilateral exchanges and cooperation.The implementation of the "One Belt and One Road" strategy provides a new engine for the world economy.Domestically,various systems constantly improve,science and technology make great breakthrough,social environment is stable,people’s living standard improves a lot,and various undertakings is seeking new development in the further and deeper reform.However,we should also see some deficiencies in our country’s economic and social development.With the approaching of the 100th anniversary of Party building,it has now reached the decisive stage of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects.Based on the characteristics of the times and the demands of economic and social development,the five development concepts come into being.The research of five development philosophy is a strategic task for the development of the whole stage in contemporary China,and the concept of harmonious development,as the important constitute part of the Five Development Concepts,is the inherent requirement of realizing sustainable and healthy development.In the overall layout of Chinese characteristic socialism,being adhere to the concept of harmonious development is a new topic in the process of pushing forward social practice under the background of great economic and social development in our country.It needs to handle significant relationships in every aspect correctly.Firstly,this article intends to fully interpret research background and significance of the concept of harmonious development,and tries to get some new inspirations on the basis of predecessors’ research.In the second chapter,first of all,I will slightly discuss the connotation of the concept of Five Development Concepts,and the location of the concept of harmonious development in the Five Development Concepts.Then I will review harmonious development thoughts in ancient China and the Marxism,which embody not only the guiding position of Marxism but also the rich local cultural characteristic.In the third chapter,I will discuss CCP’ s harmonious development thoughts in different periods on the basis of being adhere to the materialist dialectics and keeping up with the requirement of the times.In the fourth chapter,in view of the current China’s economic and social development in the balance of urban and rural areas,harmonious development among regions and social economics,harmonious development of material civilization and spiritual civilization and harmonious development of the economic construction,national defense and army building,I will deeply analyze problems existing in these four aspects,illustrate the necessity of the harmonious development from the theoretical level,and analyze causes of incoordination in order to put forward some feasible suggestions from the social practice level.In the fifth chapter,I will discuss several key points of comprehensive promotion and implementation of the concept of harmonious development and important grasping principles in the process of practice,in order to obtain the whole understanding of the concept of harmonious development.Harmonious development is concerned about the ultimate outcome of comprehensively deepening reform.If development is malformed,it will lose its meaning by sacrificing some aspects and achieving others.Development should pay more attention to coordination and wholeness,and the harmonious development of the whole economic society requires the joint promotion and common progress of all elements in various fields,which is also the proper meaning in the development of harmonious development.Harmonious development is the eternal subject of human society.Under the background of different times,it will release its internal vitality.Being adhere to the harmonious development concept and hold on,which not only conform to the rules of economic and social development,but also conform to the inevitable requirement of the development of human society.
