Study On The Trust Relationship Between The Police And Civilian In The New Urbanization Process

The high degree of the trust relationship between police and civilian is the embodiment of the relationship between the police and civilian.It is the guarantee of the performance of the public security organs and the cornerstone of the stable development of the state.This paper studies the trust relationship between the police and civilian in the new urbanization process.Taking Suzhou New & Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone as an example,this paper analyze the overall police situation and unsatisfied police situation,interviews with representatives of the new Suzhou people.By theoretical and empirical analysis,this paper finds out the important factors that influence and control the development of relationship between people and police,including the economic transition,police essence,Speed of information dissemination,and social system.This paper also proposes the construction path of the police and civilian trust based on four aspects including social background,police itself,public opinion,social system,that is to keep pace with the times,strengthen ideological construction,improve law enforcement level,strengthen the capacity for public opinion and regulate non-police activities.This paper provides theoretical basis for further developing the trust relationship between police and civilian.
