Research On Japan's Factors In Cross-strait Relations

As a result of the Chinese civil war,although the Taiwan issue is China's internal affair,it has involved complicated international factors since it happened.Before,we studied the effect of international factors among the Taiwan issue,mainly focused on America,ignored the influence from Japan of the relations across the Taiwan strait.In fact,as time goes on,it is easy to find the extent of Japan's intervention is becoming more and more deep.Before the normalization of relations between China and Japan,Japan pursued the policy of "two china" and helped the Taiwan authorities against mainland China.But at that time,Japan did not completely cut off the contact with mainland China,for its own benefit maximization,Japan still kept trade with China.After the normalization of relations between China and Japan,Japan agreed with the principle of "one China",expanded trade with China,but secretly kept official communication with the Taiwan authorities.After the end of the Cold War,under the drive of Japanese right-wingers,the communication between Japan and Taiwan became public.In particular,the military communication between Japan and Taiwan authorities had a breakthrough,Japan announced the "perimeter situation" applies to Taiwan.Japan's involvement in the Taiwan issue has history,politics,economy and so on all sorts of reasons,study of these reasons can help us work out more effective countermeasures.Japan regard the rise of China as a threat,and they think thwart China unification is the most effective way to delay the rise of China.Predictably,Japan will play a more important role in cross-strait affairs in the future.There is no doubt that Japan's intervention has great negative effects to peaceful reunification across the strait.Therefore,we should strengthen the study of Japan factors between cross-strait affairs and introduce more effective measures.It can contribute to the peaceful reunification of the strait and it also has great significance of the Chinese nation's great rejuvenation.
