Research On The Charitable Donations Of Overseas Chinese Community In Houyu,Changle City

The overseas Chinese community as a special social organization,is an important bridge for overseas Chinese to maintain communication and contact with the motherland.Over the years,the majority of overseas Chinese charitable donation by overseas Chinese associations,made a great contribution to our country's philanthropy,is an important part of our charity.Now,domestic and foreign scholars thave done less research on the philanthropy of overseas Chinese community.This paper Based on the researches of other scholars,this paper attempted to try to use the third distribution theory and the theory of social responsibility from the present situation of the charity donation of the overseas Chinese community in Houyu Town,Changle City,and focused on the analysis of the basic situation,characteristics,motivation and the impact on the economic and social development of the overseas Chinese community in Houyu Town.Then from the analysis of the current situation,it concluded with some questions about the charity donation of the overseas Chinese community in Houyu Town in terms of self-construction,fund-raising and project supervision of overseas Chinese,and analyzed the reasons for the existence of the problem one by one.Finally,on the basis of actively learning from the advanced experience of other provinces and municipalities in charity donations of overseas Chinese associations,it focused on promoting the sustainable development of charity donation cause of overseas Chinese community in Changle city and put forward effective countermeasures and suggestions from both the community itself and the government.That is,overseas Chinese communities should accurately grasp their own position in charity donation activities,strengthen their own building and enhance their credibility.The government should actively change its role and improve the charitable donation incentive mechanism to become a strong supporter of philanthropy,and promote the process of legalization of philanthropy and become an effective supervisor of charities,and create a strong philanthropic atmosphere in society and become an active leader of philanthropy.
