With the continuous integration of military communication network and Internet technology,the modern digital battlefield has developed an important information transmission network,that is,the Tactical Internet.JTRS WNW is the most popular tactical waveform in the Tactical Internet of the United States.This paper researches the M-USAP of the WNW,analyzes the performance of its time frame structure,delay and timeslot reuse ratio in the large-scale network scenarios.In order to solve these problems,we design the C-MAC protocol which is applied to the large-scale Tactical Internet.The C-MAC protocol consists of C-USAP,C-MANAGE and C-UCDS.The detail research of the three sub-protocols includes:(1)C-USAP:by introducing the idea of clustering,the C-USAP divides the large-scale network into multiple clusters with the frequency division technology.Different clusters work independently.We design the Dynamic Time-Frequency Multiple Access structure of the C-USAP and modify the control signaling messages of the M-USAP.(2)C-MANAGE:for the inter-connection problem of the different cluster nodes,we propose the plan of dividing cluster nodes role into Cluster-Head,Gateway and Normal Node.Furthermore,we design the strategies of Cluster-Head management and Gateway management.These work realizes the functions of the different cluster nodes inter-connection,node dynamic join and cross cluster.(3)C-UCDS:based on the UCDS protocol and the characteristic of different cluster nodes role,we design the C-UCDS protocol,which can elect the backbone nodes and construct the virtual backbone of the large-scale network without any network overhead.In this paper,the C-MAC protocol is simulated by OPNET software and compared with the M-USAP in different scenarios.We can also observe the backbone graph calculated by the C-UCDS on our display platform.The simulation results show that the C-MAC protocol can effectively increase the delivery ratio of the application stream,decrease the network delay and improve the slot reuse ratio compared with the M-USAP.
