As the core technology of the modern military network information system, tactical waveform is the technical basis of various of military information system and network interconnection and message service communication. It provides reliable, seamless situational awareness and command information exchange, and by constructing interconnection, intercommunication and seamless communication network to support the army battle command, its level of development is an important symbol of the military information construction. WNW waveform is one of the most popular tactics waveform used in tactical MANET network, depth study of its key technologies and protocol framework is of great significance for guiding our research and development of the same kind of tactical waveform.This paper mainly studied for optimization of link layer network topology control technology of WNW tactics waveform, combined with the dynamic slot allocation protocol to achieve topology control protocol, and through topology control technology to achieve optimization of the network layer OLSR routing protocol, to enhance the overall performance of WNW tactical waveform network. The specific topics of this thesis are as follows:Firstly, WNW waveform protocol framework and key technologies are analyzed in detail. Understand the difference between WNW waveform network and the common MANET network, analyze the role of all levels of the protocol stack, and the key technology of cross-layer control strategy, dynamic slot allocation strategy and dynamic topology control strategy. Second, link layer topology control protocol is designed and implemented by using UCDS algorithm and combining USAP slot allocation protocol. The data structure, protocol algorithm are designed, and the network topology of the virtual backbone network is established. Then improve the peformance of network layer OLSR routing protocol by the link layer UCDS topology control protocol, includes MPR choice optimization, routing optimization, and the design of energy balance OLSR protocol, and its data structure, basic operation are modified. Last, simulation and modeling for UCDS protocols and the improved OLSR protocol are carried out using OPNET simulation software, and its simulation result is analyzed and proved out.In this paper, the research of topology control optimization technology of WNW waveform network is helpful to the development of tactical network waveform, which has important reference value for the development of our army tactical wireless communication network.
