The Research On Illegal Cost And Violation Of Taxi Drivers

Taxi driversare kind of extraordinary camparing with other driving groups.Most of them are forced to maintain long operating time for extra income,and tremendous aggressive behaviors or even violations are related to the group.Although,violations of taxi driver were highlighted by traffic governors and taxi companies all the time,little measures were proved to be benefical.It is urgent to study the essential motives of taxi drivers' violation.This research is intended to investigate the violation of taxi drivers based on illegal cost and benefits.Violation chracteristics are taken into consideration.Transformation of both costs and benefits are associated with traffic enforcementstrategies,operating conditions and severity of punishments.For this purpose,fundamental survey,violation datas and analysis of Chinese traffic management regulations are required,and the quantitative illegal costs and benefits can be obtained.Two patterns of taxi driver were distinguished to establish the different evolutionary game models.The simulation therefore illustrated the change trend of violations using various cost conditions.Meanwhile,otherpotentional and objective factors that relate to violations were analysis.It is found that taxi drivers tend to choose to break the law under a low illegal costs circumstance.Furthermore,taxi drivers were proved to be relatively high rational.They are very aware of the road condition and law enforcement level in the operation area,and they are professional in pursuing higher benefits through adjustingoffence strategies.Our models also show thattaxi driver's illegal cost raised when their qualification penalty costs were increased,which leads to the critical driver's offence probability is obviously lower than that of the ordinary driver.In reality,the violation strategy of taxi drivers eventually tends to be stable with less or no disturbance.
