The thesis studies the hegemony thought of international relations theory in the Western Marxist.Western Marxist mainly refers to the influence of Lukacs and Gramsci's thoughts,and attaches importance to the social ontology,the construction of civil society and the spirit of social criticism,and also insists on Historical Materi alism ideological system.Western Marxist theory of international relations mainly includes Dependency Theory,World System Theory and the New Gramsci International Relations Theory,among which the theory of hegemony is the World System Theory and the New Gramsci International Relations Theory.By comparing the hegemony concepts in various international relations theories,this thesis points out the concept of the hegemony thought in the Western Marxist international relations theory and makes it clear that the source of the Western Marxism hegemony is the early thought of leadership of the Marxists in the period.From the angle of Marxist international relations,the paper discusses the content of hegemony thought in the theory of international relations of Western Marxism and analyzes the characteristics and value of the Western Marxist hegemony thought in light of the international situation.By studying the hegemony ideology in the evolution of the Capitalist World System,we can understand the problem of the hegemonic order established by the hegemonic countries in the Capitalist System,and then think about the way of anti-hegemony order.The hegemony thought in the Western Marxist international relations theory is a reflection on the crisis of the world hegemony order at the end of the 20 th Century.It has carried out a detailed analysis of the history of the three hegemonic alternations(the Netherlands,the United Kingdom and the United States),pointing out that the rule of the change of hegemony and the process of establishing hegemony and criticizing the existing hegemony order and also has considered the possibilities and ways of changing the world order in the future.The hegemony thought in the Western Marxist theory of international relations is concerned about the hegemonic crisis brought by the expansion of Capitalist System,which has provided a reflection on the anti-capitalist hegemony order,and has improved the Marxist international relations theory and has promoted the innovation and development of international relations theory.
