Research On The Origin Of Socialist Core Values From Confucianism

The socialist core values which was proposed by The Eighteenth National Congress of the CPC,is the integration product of basic principle of marxism with Chinese excellent traditional culture,and is the latest achievements of the sinicization of Marxism.Cultivating and carrying forward the core socialist values must be based on the Chinese excellent traditional culture.Chinese excellent traditional cultureis profound,mainly it is based on Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism thought as auxiliary.It was internalized gradually over time to become the spiritual pillar of Chinese people.Therefore,to explore the Confucian thoughts origin of socialist core values has important theoretical and practical significances for cultivating and practicing the socialist core values better.The Analects of Confuciusis the most representative of the Confucian classics.This article explores systematically the Confucian thoughts origin of socialist core values based on the Analects,and it includes five parts.The first part is the introduction,it mainly describes the background and purpose,status at home and abroad,methods of this research,and so on.The second part is about the socialist core values and summary of Confucianism.It discusses mainly the values and the core values,the connotation and characteristics of socialist core values.Meanwhile,it also discusses a summary of national thoughts,social thoughts,and moral thoughts of Confucianism.The third part is about the origin of the socialist core values from Confucian national thoughts.Through the analysis of basic connotation of the prosperous,democratic,civilized and harmonious thoughts of Confucian,this part mainly discusses the prosperity,democracy,civilization and harmony in socialism core values which corresponds to the origin of Confucian thoughts.The fourth part is about the origin of the socialist core values from Confucian social thoughts.Through the analysis of basic connotation of the free,equal,impartial and rule of law thoughts of Confucian,this part mainly discusses the freedom,equality,impartiality and rule of law in socialism core values which corresponds to the origin of Confucian thoughts.The fifth part is about the origin of the socialist core values from Confucian moral thoughts.Through the analysis of basic connotation of the patriotic,dedicated,sincere and friendly thoughts of Confucian,this part mainly discusses the patriotism,dedication,sincerity and friendship in socialism core values which corresponds to the origin of Confucian thoughts.This article carries on the further thought and exploration based on academic research of the socialist core values.By excavating,analyzing and concluding the Confucian thoughts origin of socialist core values based on the Analects,it ascertain systematically the Confucian thoughts origin of the twelve values in socialist core values.The purpose is to provide reference for cultivating and practicing the socialist core values,and realizing the Chinese dream of great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
