Research On The Political Work Of The Eighth Route Army

Political work is the lifeline of the people's army.During the war of resistance against Japan,the Eighth Route Army,under the strong leadership of the Communist Party of China,inherited and carried forward the fine traditions of the political work of the Red Army,and pushed the political work of the army to a new stage of maturity and development.After the fall of Wuhan in November 1938,the war of resistance against Japan began to become a stalemate.The Japanese army began to transform its strategy of fighting against China and lure the Kuomintang into surrender.Meanwhile,it gathered the main force to "mop up" the Anti-Japanese base areas.1939-1942 is an extremely difficult 3-years period for our army in the war of resistance.The severe international and domestic situation compels our army to tighten up its political work.On the premise of upholding the overall resistance to the war,we will strive to develop the progressive forces,strive for the middle forces,isolate the stubborn forces,and improve our army's fighting capacity and weaken the enemy as much as possible.And we will unite all the forces that can be united,expand and consolidate the Anti-Japanese national united front,to lay a solid political foundation for the victory of the strategic counter offensive by accumulating enough military and political forces.Military affairs magazine of the Eighth Route Army was the first publication after the Red Army was adapted as the Eighth Route Army.It was not only the first large organ to reflect the military and political work,but also the only publication of the military political Ministry of the Central Military Commission of the Communist Party of China,hosted by the political Ministry of the Eighth Route Army in Yan'an.The magazine was published from 1939 to1942,and a total of more than 110 articles related to political work were published,including many military construction,cadre education,Party building work,mass propaganda and mobilization,the work of the enemy and the puppet army,and the work of friendly forces.Therefore,taking the Military affairs magazine of the Eighth Route Army as the center to examine the political work of the Eighth Route Army in the period of 1939-1942,not only can we sort out and accurately grasp the general situation of the political work of the Eighth Route Army in this period by means of one hand data system,but also provide a reference for the political work of the army in the present time through a summary of the historical experience and lessons,as well as promoting the modernization of political work.Based on this,this paper mainly studies from the following three parts:Part one: Chapter 1 Introduction.This part mainly introduces the purpose,significance,related notion,research status and innovation of the thesis,and analyzes the general situation of the Military affairs magazine of the Eighth Route Army.Part two: Chapter 2 to 5.This part is the main part of this paper,mainly describing four subjects--the army,the masses,the enemy and the puppet army,the friendly forces.It also analyzes the problems,measures,achievements,and shortcomings faced by the Eighth Route Army in carrying out political work on every subject from 1939 to 1942.The second chapter analyzes the challenges that the Eighth Route Army faces in the organization and thought,and through the strengthening of the organization and theeducation to carry out the work,the remarkable achievements in the military construction have been achieved.The third chapter analyzes the obstacles that the Eighth Route Army faces in the process of mobilizing the masses and strengthens the military and civilian cooperation through various flexible ways.The fourth chapter analyzes the situation of the enemy and the puppet army in the 1939 and the experience obtained in the process of enemy troops collapsed.The fifth chapter analyzes the changes in the relationship between our army and friendly forces and how the Eighth Route Army maintains unity between the friendly forces and our army and consolidates the national united front.Part three: Chapter 6.This part mainly analyzes the characteristics of the political work of the Eighth Route Army in 1939-1942.At the same time,through the excavation of its historical significance and the impact of reality,it is suggested that the political work of our army should continue to inherit the fine tradition in the new period and continue to develop and innovate based on the party's absolute leadership of the army and the three principles of the political work of the army.
