Professional Study On Team Work Intervention In Community Aged-care Service

Since China entered the aging society,the large increase in the number of the aged has imposed a heavy burden on social development.The problem of pension has also become an urgent issue in our country.In view of the present situation of pension in China,these three pension modes: traditional family pension and institutional pension and Community Age-care constitute the current pension service system in China.Relieving the pressure of pension mainly depends on the system.Among the three,the Community a Aged-care is more and more recognized by the society because of its unique advantages.However,owing to the rapid aging,the population of the aged is increasing rapidly.In addition,the imperfect social security system and the late start of the development of Community Aged-care have led to the imbalance between supply and demand of pension services and the occurrence of mismatches.These problems all indicate that there are still many problems in the Community Aged-care service at the present stage.Introducing Social Work professional method into Community Aged-care service,and regarding the community as a relying platform,in view of the differences in the status quo of the aged in the community,professional services are provided to the aged to help them meet their needs and solve practical problems.Furthermore,it can improve the quality of service for the aged and promote the development of Community Aged-care.The study chose Kuixing Tower Community in Pidu District of Chengdu as the research site.After the field investigation and analysis of the status quo of Community Aged-care services and the needs of the aged,We screening and recruiting 10 eligible elderly people to participate in group activities,Through one-to-one interviews,we understand the basic information about them includes: Living status,family status,community participation,leisure time use,etc.After nearly 20 days of team work,professional evaluation results were obtained:The group goals have been basically achieved.Depending on it,we explore the specialty of group work in Community Aged-care services.Finally,the study shows that Group Work is a professional method of Social Work.It has the function of realizing the spiritual needs of the aged,Group Work can effectively help the aged improve their interpersonal skills and establish social support networks.The development of Group Work is also conducive to further improve the professional level of Community Aged-care services.At the same time,it can also be concluded from the evaluation results of the intervention that as far as the community is concerned,there are still limitations in the intervention of Group Work in community Aged-care services at present.Finally,through the analysis of these status quo,the paper puts forward some relevant suggestions.
