In the National long-term Education Reform and Development Plan (2010-2020),government clearly states that international student enrollment will be expandedand the quality of international education will be improved. Shenzhen municipalgovernment plans to set up a Shenzhen International Student Base in HITShenzhen campus. During the past eleven years, HIT Shenzhen Graduate Schoolrecruited nearly400international students from South Korea, U.S. France,Canada and other15countries and regions. However, there are still a number ofissues for the international education. How to expand the enrollment, improvethe quality of training and management, optimize study environment and perfectthe management system, making the international education to achieve healthyand sustainable development, will be the focus of international education for HITShenzhen Graduate School.This study researches the background, purpose, meaning and domestic&foreignresearch status by summarizing the existing literature, websites and books.Current status, problems and their causes of strategy for international educationof HIT Shenzhen Graduate School are analyzed. By using the PEST analysis andSWOT analysis, this study researches the reconstruction of internationaleducation strategy for HIT Shenzhen Graduate School. Expand the enrollment,improve the quality of education and management are proposed to achieve thesustainable development of international education. Finally, the study researchesthe safeguards of the implementation of international education strategy. Thesafeguards includes further enhance the understanding of international education,improve supervisors' enthusiasm, enhance service consciousness and strengthenthe infrastructure construction.This study also researches the policy recommendation of national level,Shenzhen municipal government level and Harbin Institute of Technology level.Hoping to provide arguments and references for future international education atHIT Shenzhen Graduate School, this study seeks to research the problems andreasons and shape the strategy and safeguards for the development ofinternational education.
