With the growing demand for mass sports fitness, the existing public gymnasiums and stadiums hardly meet the needs for the mass sports fitness activities. However, besides meeting their own needs, there are a lot of remaining resources for colleges and universities gymnasiums and stadiums. It is the trend of the times for colleges and universities gymnasiums and stadiums to operate market-oriented remaining resources due to the existence of the relationship between supply and demand. Remaining resources management is the key to the success of marketization. Therefore, the research on the way to market-oriented operation in view of the colleges and universities gymnasiums and stadiums in Liaoning province will have a guiding significance and practical application value to ease the market supply and demand and to promote the development of society and the college sports.By using the literature material law, interview law, questionnaire survey method, logical analysis and other methods, the paper makes an investigation of sports venues market-oriented operation and management style for college in Liaoning Province. A series of problems are found in college of Liaoning Province sports venues market-oriented operation process. And it puts forward some corresponding suggestions for the problems. Through the above research, the main conclusions are that college of Liaoning Province sports venues market-oriented operation is an inevitable trend; the choice of the reasonable management style is the guarantee of the sports venues market-oriented operation success; the leadership subjectivity limits reasonable choice of sports venues management style; the management of college sports venues combined with financial independence is the best manage operation to the college sports venues market-oriented operation.
