Study On Education Of Ecological Civilization View To The Contemporary University Students

Today,when ecological crisis continues to deepen and even seriously threatens the global ecological security and human survival as well as development,promoting ecological civilization becomes an inevitable choice after environmental crisis.Development of civilization,however,depends on education first.Only through internalizing the scientific theory into people's consciousness can it inspires people's conscious behaviors.College students are the main force to promote the development of social progress.To strengthen the education of the ecological civilization concept to them is an effective way related to people's well-beings,national development and social stability,and also an important measure to realize the developmental strategy goal of "Beautiful China".Thus,in this paper,the present situation,existing problems as well as its reasons of contemporary college students' ecological civilization education are analyzed,and the focus is put on the effective measures to solve these problems.First part of this article mainly elaborates the research reason,purpose,significance,status at home and abroad,its innovation and limits of the writing.The second part mainly discusses the related concepts of ecological civilization education,explores the theoretical sources of college students' concept of ecological civilization education,and analyzes its educational necessity,that is,to promote college students' comprehensive development,which is the necessary requirement of social development and international competitiveness.The third part mainly analyzes the present situation and existing problems of contemporary college students' ecological civilization.This research uses the questionnaire as instrument to investigate the present situation of college students' ecological civilization in some universities in our province.Through the analysis of the results,some problems are put forward,for example,the importance of ecological civilization education in colleges and universities is insufficient;teachers' related professional level is not high and college students' initiative to consciously learn and practice the ecological civilization is not high.The reasons are the lack of systematic ecological civilization education system in colleges and universities,the lack of teaching experience because of late start in ecological civilization education and the influence of social environment anthropocentrism.The fourth part,based on the ecological civilization education present situation,problems and its reasons,correspondently puts forward the basic methods of college students' concept of ecological civilization education.From the following five aspects,namely,to reinforce the theoretical education,to increase practical exercises,to pay attention to the construction of campus culture,to create a favorable external environment and to strengthen college students' self-education,some measures are taken,for example,strengthen the concepts and consciousness of college students' ecological civilization construction;improve the teaching quality of teachers,add more life practice;create the campus spiritual and material culture;strengthen the government legal system and the public consensus of ecological civilization;guide college students' self education and strengthen the gratitude of nature.
