In the 1990s, America started the reform based on the standard of science education. After more than 10 years' curriculum reform, the American academic performance is poor in the domestic and international scientific evaluation, reflecting its reason, we can easily find there are some problem about the development of American primary and secondary science education,which are as follows:its content has a poor logic, broad scope and a poor depth, and the connection between the theme is not enough; it pay attention to involve and cover the subject for everything of the discipline, effective discipline knowledge framework hasn't built for the science learning to students; The evaluation mainly depend on the choice and the summative assessment, it lacks the diversity evaluation method and need to take the process of the students learning into the evaluation.Learning progressions is to reveal students in learning and explore a topic on the theme of thinking, understanding and practice for quite a long time a step by step, how to develop, from simple to complex, from low level to high level, from novice to expert); It is characterized by a certain knowledge, skills and the potential development sequence of ability; It describe a assumption which is formed on the basis of a large number of empirical studies and can be tested through practice. Science Education Curriculum Integrated in the form of Learning Progressions is the contemporary development of spiral course, which can develop the consistency of the curriculum, teaching and evaluation implementation so as to realize the unity of the science education essence and the nature of science through the curriculum design.This article mainly studies the "Science Education Curriculum Integrated in the form of Learning Progressions" which is on the basis of analyzing the content selection, organization, cohesion, and coordination problems of the current science curriculum, The article also explores its connotation, main content, design idea, curriculum elements, organization form, curriculum evaluation, the challenge of the characteristics and implementation systematically, it will put forward some problems of the basic education of our country with the development of the science curriculum and come up with some suggestions.
