Engineering Schools Between China And Japan Comparative Study Of Applied Undergraduate Talents Training Mode

With China's economic and social development of the growth of demand for applied talents,, application-oriented talents training mode also get more and more attention of the whole society.Under the background, the development of Application-oriented Colleges education and the cultivation of applied talents have become the inevitable trend of popularization of higher education stage.Based on engineering colleges and universities as a starting point and applied undergraduate talents cultivation as the main body, this paper select two Japanese in many colleges and universities with unique characteristics, in order to cultivate applied talents for the target-Toyohashi University of Technology and Nagaoka University of Technology. At the same time, representative of applied undergraduate engineering college- Hunan Institute of Engineering and Heilongjiang Institute of Technology are also chosen in the south and north of China. In this article, five elements are analyzed and summarized through the case to their applied talents training mode such as training target, specialty setting, curriculum, teaching mode, teachers construction as well as using the literature research, investigation, comparative analysis method for engineering schools between China and Japan to each of the factors of applied undergraduate talents training mode.Through comparative analysis, found that the theory research of applied talent training in our country is not sufficient, and there are many disadvantages in terms of training target, specialty setting, curriculum, teaching mode, the teachers troop construction. Therefore, this article summarizes the successful experience of Japan on the applied talents training on the basis of understanding of the culture and regional economy between the two countries, and it provides agood reference for the construction applied talents training mode as well as better development in our country.
