Study On Pragmaticality Of Ideological And Political Education Through Student Association

The party central committee under the state council has always attached great importance to ideological and political education of college students in China.Colleges and relevant departments have also been working to enhance the pragmaticality of ideological and political education.Student association is one of the main platforms for students to participate in practice,and an effective carrier of ideological and political education.It has unique ideological and political education functions,including value orientating,quality developing,attracting and condensing,adjusting and encouraging,regulating and restraining.By strengthening current construction and management of student association and improving its development level,the effect of ideological and political education can be given full play which only contributes to the individual development of college students,but also promotes the cooperation between student association and ideological and political education.Firstly,the research clarified the relevant theories of college student association,including its definition and category,form and evolution,as well as its features,so as to afford a foundation for the following research which focused on the effect of ideological and political education though the study of student Association.Secondly,the influence and function of ideological and political education was analyzed.Based on the preliminary research on the definition,category and features,the results of questionnaire and individual interview helped divide the ideological and political educational influence of student association into 5 aspects,which included value orientating,quality developing,attracting and condensing,adjusting and encouraging,regulating and restraining,to guide the proposed strategies.Thirdly,deficiency of the influence of student association was proposed to be demonstrated,for instance environment effect,insufficient of theory guidance,lack of leading and supporting,imperfect of rules and regulations,short of innovational activity form.As the emphasis of this thesis,the last part proposed systemic and specific strategies were presented with the macroscopic to microscopic mechanism of management guarantee,mutual learning and activity operation.These strategies could lead to the perfection of construction and management of student association and the improvements of pragmaticality of ideological and political education for college students.
