Research Into Strategies For Modern Engineers Based On The Professional Certification Of Engineering Education

In recent years, with the rapid development of economy, science, technology and industrialization process in China, the modern industry have more requirements towards the industrial engineers in China. Engineering education as an important part of the higher education, it has been took responsibilities about cultivating modern engineers in engineering field for a long time. Engineering Education Professional Certification as the important method and basis to promote the quality of engineering education and cultivate the modern engineers. Taking the Professional Certification Standard of engineering education as the guidance so that we can find a possible path cultivating the international modern engineers, these points are engineering education's focus in nowadays. In recent years, facing the new situation of global industrial development, countries around the world do some adjustment and development in the field of engineering education, especially the high-tech strategy towards Industry 4.0 in Germany, the strategy of Industry 2050 in British and advanced manufacturing industry in the United States and so on, these industrial strategies have pointed out the direction of cultivating the modern engineers,providing the idea of improving the quality about engineering education.This paper take the theory of Pragmatism Education and Combination of Education with Productive Labor as solid foundation, meanwhile, there are some definitions in this research, such as Engineering Education, Professional Certification and Modern engineers. This paper involves the literature research,comparative research, systematic analysis method and many other methods to settle a clear clue for this paper. This paper research on the Certification standards about ABET in American, the ASIIN in Germany, the JABEE in Japan and the CTI inFrance and so on,and then research on the strategies for cultivating the modern engineers based on the Professional Certification of Engineering Education in foreign countries, and pointing out the reference and enlightenment from them and some problems that exit in the process of cultivating modern engineers in China.Basing on the seven standards from Professional Certification of Engineering Education as the breakthrough, and making the smart strategies about cultivating the modern engineers in this paper.
