In recent years, there are many new emerging geography teaching methods, one of which the author uses frequently in recent high school geography teaching is case teaching. In this paper, taking the example of "regional sustainable development" module, by a study for a high school geography teaching case, I hope the case teaching in high school geography can make teaching more standardized, systematic and enrich the classroom. In addition to imparting knowledge, the high school geography teaching is more important to mobilize the students' initiative to study geography, cultivate their interest in learning geography, and teach students to learn geography. In the case of high school geography teaching, students should be the subjects of teaching, teachers should actively play a guiding role. Whether the design from the teaching case preparation, or the case of classroom implementation process, and then to the evaluation of the case teaching, teaching should be from the reality of students, from the students' development needs, and teachers should give full play to the dominant position of students.In the literature review, the author clearly defines core concepts to reflect on thinking theory, achievement motivation theory, constructivist learning theory, insight learning theory as the theoretical support; in the form of questionnaires, interviews, and lectures, understand the design and Teaching Practice implementation problems of teaching high school geography, combined with the author's teaching three-dimensional object from case design, selecting material of teaching cases, teaching case design, case teaching aspects, case teaching evaluation of these aspects proposed targeted countermeasures and suggestions, and then hope to improve students'participation in the case teaching, improve students'ability in geography learning, strengthen the implementation of the three objectives to enhance the effect of the case teaching.
