The new curriculum standard advocates the education idea of take the student as themain body,"studying useful geography for life" and "studying useful geography for lifelongdevelopment" is the geography teaching should achieve the goals. In the practical geographyteaching activities, teachers tend to use many case to auxiliary teaching, taught in these cases,it is more important is to make students master case behind embodied by geographicalprinciples and rules. Geographic required three textbooks for high schools who are nowadayswidely used a textbook, teachers throughout the whole textbook "case", is the core content ofgeographic required three textbooks for high schools are, so in case of in-depth study is verynecessary and important.First of all, the author of geography for high schools are required3"case", fully explainthe background and significance of the study summarized the domestic and foreign researchstatus quo of this research topic, and introduces the research ideas and methods adopted inthis paper. Geographical case has true objectivity, coherent integrity, enriching the classiccharacteristics, guide the inspirational, while geography for high schools are required3"case"in addition to the above characteristics, also has the lead students to explore themselves, payattention to cultivate students’ divergent thinking and comprehensive analysis, shape thestudents’ scientific ability and scientific spirit, highlight regional geography study theparticularity of the unique advantages.Secondly, this paper analyzes the geographical compulsory3"case", and theclassification for different cases.
