"EQ" concept proposed by Professor Daniel Goleman,setting off an attack storm to “theory of intelligence quotient”,People gradually began to pay attention to the important role of emotional intelligence plays in the development of human life.The rapid development of social life,the fierce social competition,calls for people with high emotional intelligence.Emotional intelligence mainly refers to the ability of self cognition,emotion control,self motivation,cognitive ability and interpersonal communication ability.We implement quality education,which requires the development of personal intelligence and emotional intelligence development,training college students to become the wisdom and the heart of the perfect individual.As an important platform for implementing quality education of the ideological and political education,have the obligation to cultivate college students EQ quality,guide college students to form a healthy and positive state of mind,to better meet the needs of social development,so as to realize the comprehensive and healthy growth.Giving full play to the function of Ideological and political education to cultivate college students' EQ is an effective means of EQ education,but also an important measure to embody the value of humanistic care in Ideological and political education.There is a lot of research on EQ of foreign scholars,but the specific methods to explore college students' EQ training from the perspective of Ideological and political education is less.Therefore,this article will use the literature research method,investigation method and interdisciplinary research method,to explore the ideological and political education for college students' EQ training function.After college students enter the University,the EQ level presents the characteristics of the unbalanced development.The EQ level of contemporary college students is in the middle,but there are still many problems.For example,self cognition is not mature enough,self-control ability is weak,anti-frustration ability is poor,self-Center tendency,self-motivation is insufficient and the interpersonal relation coordination ability is weak,etc..The causes of the problems are closely related to the college students themselves,family environment factors and educational factors.Past ideological and political education on College Students' EQ culture played a role of dominant and recessive education,but to reflect on the past education present situation we still find weaknesses in education,the specific performance: weaken the function of Ideological and political education of individuality;lack of EQ education content in Ideological and political education;ideological and political education of College Students' EQ training single;emotional quality of Ideological and political education needs to be improved;the EQ education evaluation mechanism imperfect.In view of the problems existing in the process of education,this paper puts forward the corresponding countermeasures,mainly in the establishment of Ideological and political education of College Students' EQ training problem awareness,the ideological and political education in the increase of EQ education content,the innovation of Ideological and political education on College Students' EQ cultivation mode and improve the ideological and political education of emotional qualities,and improve the evaluation mechanism of EQ education.
