With the development of economic globalization, the English language more and widely used in our country, school is an important place for English learning, of course, it puts English teaching in an important position. Junior middle school is a very important stage of English learning, and grammar teaching has always been a major difficulty for English teachers in junior middle school. Since the task of English teaching is very heavy, and it is difficult for teachers to extract a lot of time to teach grammar, combined with more abstract grammatical knowledge itself, most teachers still use traditional teaching methods (e.g teacher teaches on the podium, while students take notes and recite machinery on their seats) to teach grammar, which makes it difficult for teachers to achieve good teaching results. In order to solve the problem of low efficiency and pool results of grammar teaching, many scholars conducted depth research on grammar teaching. The features of vivid and flexible learning time of microlecture have just solved problems of lack of teaching time and abstraction of grammar knowledge."Microlecture is based on the new curriculum standards and class teaching practice, using teaching videos as the main carrier, records teachers in class for one knowledge point or teaching stage."(Hu Tiesheng, 2011) In this paper, the author combined microlecture and English grammar teaching, applied microlecture which is a novel teaching method in English grammar teaching, and start the microlecture grammar teaching experiment. In this article, the author expounds the concept of microlecture and grammar, and demonstrates the feasibility and necessity of microlecture applied in English grammar teaching in junior middle school. Through microlecture teaching experiments, author tried to study in the grammar teaching to prove whether microlecture teaching is more effective than the traditional teaching mode. At the same time, author aims to demonstrate whether taking use of microlecture will affect students' English grammar learning attitude and prove that is suitable for junior middle school English grammar teaching. The empirical research takes two classes, including control class and experimental class, who are in grade 2, Dangpudi junior school in Chifeng and in the same level as object. The author selects some grammar knowledge points in the English teaching materials according to school teaching process and designs microlecture according to the design principle and microlecture design program.The control class takes use of traditional teaching, and experimental uses of microlecture video and teaching programs. After experiments, author carries on the corresponding grammar test (instant test and time delay test) to examine whether students' grammar performance has greatly improved. In the meanwhile, author knows about students'attitude through questionnaire and interview, and concludes that microlecture is suitable for junior middle school English grammar teachingThrough study, we found that microlecture inspired the students' interest in learning grammar, improved the students' English grammar learning and it also can promote the students' autonomous learning ability and the confidence of English learning.
