Management Of Group-study In Rural Boarding School

Group study can enhance team spirit and leadership skills. Through group study students can learn to work with others and compete in a community. Group study is a good way to activate students so that they can take an active part in class activities. Via group study, every student has tasks to do and vice versa. Compared to traditional class types, group study can not only make the students more active but also can encourage those who are weaker in study. Group study is to divide the students into several groups and make use of these studying groups in daily teaching and class activities so as to develop self-management ability of the students. More importantly,systematic group assessment can be used to assess first the group members and then the performance of different teams. Finally, these data contributes to the realization of the assessment of class management system.At present, the most popular ways for the schools of management of the students are rigid regulations which are set by the school authorities like disciplines. However, these traditional ways of management may cause various problems, compared to which studying groups have distinct advantages. Studying group contributes a lot to the improvements of social relationships among the students. What is more, students can be encouraged to learn from one another, so as to enhance the sense of belonging of the students to their classes. Besides, studying group can activate the creativity of the students and encourage them to join in various types of activities. After studying in groups for a period of time, it is found that students are braver to present their ideas. So in this way, the potentials of the students can bedeveloped and active communication can be realized. What kinds of tasks one student has to finish purely depends on his or her ability, which contributes much to the development of the students' own ability. Differentiated learning can come true in this way. In studying group, students can not only learn to explore and practice to gain knowledge and experience the pleasure of making progress but also can learn how to cooperate with others in a team.This study focuses on the group study management of rural boarding school aiming to explore suitable strategies of group study management for rural boarding school. Students are regarded to be the most important aspects of learning, teaching and daily class activities. It is of great importance to find out ways to change the traditional ways of class management of rural boarding school and to analyze efficient ways to manage studying groups so that students can be the real principle of class. I hope this study can be of reference to other rural boarding school teachers. What is more, this study can contribute to the case study of studying group management. At the same time,the theories and the results of the study will be analyzed carefully and be promoted in schools.
