| At the beginning of the 21 st century,in order to further realize the education goal of "everyone is eager to learn",the state has increased its investment in education in rural areas, and boarding schools have now become the main school-running model in rural areas in my country. In the context of boarding, primary school students face many challenges in the process of school adaptation due to the particularity of their physical and mental development stage. How are their schools adapting? What are the risk factors and protective factors it faces? How to use social work to discover protective factors and reduce risk factors,so as to promote their school adaptation? This is the main question discussed in this study. This article adopts qualitative research methods, taking G County A Primary School as a field point, using observation methods and interview methods to describe the current situation of rural boarding pupils’ school adaptation from four aspects: emotions, learning, interpersonal, and life, and then use the theory of resilience to further analyze the risk factors and protective factors that affect their school adaptation for the research perspective, and on this basis, conduct group work interventions for the risk factors that affect their school adaptation. Finally, based on the above research, the author proposes to introduce a service mechanism for school social workers to develop school social work;Strengthen the construction of the teaching staff of rural boarding schools, meet the needs of students’ study and life;Adjust teaching and spare time arrangements, assist students to establish good companionship;Establish a communication system between home and school, guide parents to participate in school management, further promote the school adaptation of rural boarding pupils. |
