ZhanGuo Ce(Record of the Warring States)mainly recorded those brilliant activities of comments and argumentation made by those advisers and counselors of various kings in the Warring States era,which fully demonstrates an aggressive and intelligent spiritual outlook of MOUSHI,a particular social class in Chinese ancient times,and which is regarded as the outstanding representative of the Pre-Qin Dynasty literature.It not only has the double values of literature and history,but also its educational value is under excavation constantly.ZhanGuo Ce has been compiled into Chinese Textbooks of middle school for a long time.However,affected by the class time and so on,the actual effect for selected teaching is not ideal.This paper attempts to take arts of debating and persuading of SHI in ZhanGuo Ce as a core to explore the teaching strategy of improvement to the selections from ZhanGuo Ce in Chinese Textbooks of middle school.This paper is divided into four parts.The first part,combing the selections from ZhanGuo Ce in Chinese textbooks of middle school from diachronic and synchronic dimensions.The second part,explanation excellent arts of debating and persuading of CESHI in ZhanGuo Ce from three aspects: debating wits,speech technique and essential noble spirit.In this paper,debating wits of those advisers and counselors includes recognizing the big problem out of those trivial and analogical reasoning,taking detours as straight and treating somebody with the way he has devised against others,finding the reason from the result and requesting flexibly,tit for tat and proving speech by behavior;The speech arts of those advisers and counselors is reflected in argumentation activities contains indulging in extravagance and ostentation and killing people with momentum,rigorous structure and cutting through meaning,move somebody by emotion and make someone clear by reason,stories and fables to explain difficulties into easiness as four features;The noble spirit giving out of the process of argumentation by those advisers and counselors can be concluded into meticulousness and rigorousness and introspection,taking death as recurrence and unafraid of power,understanding the important principles thoroughly and solving problems for nations.The third part,exploration and discussion of taking art of argumentation as breakthrough to improve the selections teaching strategy from ZhanGuo Ce in the Chinese Texts of Middle School.Its detail contents are to improve students' thinking ability by debating wits,to sense and feel the characters' personal charming by speech technique,and to see the variety of era features by debating contents and means.The fourth part,taking the selection of Zouji Persuading King of Qi State for example to do teaching case research and study on the selections from ZhanGuo Ce in Chinese textbooks of middle school,and contrasting 16 representative class cases on to do case research on the classic text: Zouji Persuading King of Qi State,and getting the teaching status of argumentation art in the class case of Zouji Persuading King of Qi State,then using the teaching idea of taking argumentation arts as a breakthrough to re-design the teachings,finally doing explanation on this teaching design and relevant reflection.
