Festivals are the days of group activities,when people express their ideas and beliefs out of the common spiritual emotion and social needs though corresponding material carriers and behaviors in a particular spatiotemporal relationship.People's treatment to festivals has changed fundamentally due to the development of network society as well as scientific technology,and domestic as well as international connection with the festival symbiotic landscape of external and internal festivals appearing in modern universities.When this festival mode is normalized,non-mainstream festival culture starts to attract peoples' attention.In this sense,the attention and probe of modern university student's non-mainstream festival and culture is regarded to not only the important social festival practice,which is facing the new changes of emerging festival,but also about modern university students grow up healthily.The non-mainstream festival culture,a new type of festival cultural pattern existing among modern college students,refers to a new festival cultural pursuit different from that advocated or expected by mainstream of tranditional culture.The differences can be seen directly or indirectly lie in festival concepts?festival behaviors?their ways of celebrating and other relative activities.It is an integration of minds or modes of behaviors and expressions.Modern university students' non-mainstream festival culture mainly embodies in the fields of entertainment,recreation and consumption with their own styles,which affect modern university students' life by virtue of hilarity and entertainment,commercial character and popularity,fissionability and consumption,resistance and deconstruction.This paper is done with the combination of theoretical study and practical demonstration.It is based on the theory of cultural perspective to explore the thoughts and actions of the modern university students' non-mainstream festival interaction,then follow the circuit from question to strategy and from the logic of macrocosm to microcosm.Firstly,it explained the connotation of modern university students' non-mainstream festival culture and further discussed about cultural essence as well as characteristics based on analyzing the type of non-mainstream festival to explain “What is modern university students' non-mainstream festival”.Then,it traced its theoretical foundation from the aspects of philosophy,psychology,sociology as well as consumption and augmented its reality of generation in the view of internal basis,social cultural agent as well as technical condition.At last,it comprehensively illustrated the cultural effect of modern university students' non-mainstream festival and revealed that modern university students' non-mainstream festival manifests its functional mechanism through resistance,style as well as incorporation.On the basis of the study,and finally put forward to the introductory strategies for modern university students under the background of non-mainstream festival culture.In order to guide the non-mainstream festival behavior of modern university students reasonably and make them grow up healthily,we can intervene this in four aspects as cognitive subject guidance,school education and guidance,media technology to master,government service and guidance.
