Nowadays computer-assisted teaching tools have become an important symbol of the modernization of education with the development of modern education. The interactive electronic whiteboard, one of the typical examples of assisting tools, has gradually being applied into mathematics teaching practice in high school based on its advantages of dynamic, interactive and convenient, etc.This paper was conducted according to literature review, methodology (APOS theory, humanistic theory and constructivism theory), questionnaire surveys, personal interviews and statistic analysis. It demonstrated the positive functions of interactive electronic whiteboard in high school mathematics teaching, and listed its successful applications class practice, and specifically illustrated the use effects of interactive electronic whiteboard in teaching solid geometry of high school mathematics.This study suggests that the use of interactive whiteboard in high school mathematics teaching could effectively cultivate and improve students' self-learning ability, understanding of three-dimensional graphics and their interests in learning. Moreover, it may play a positive role in promoting the teaching quality for teachers and learning quality for students. Of course, in this study, there still exist some limitations. The experimental sample survey is limited and the interview survey for teachers and students are lack of diversity. In addition, the design and processing of the questionnaire needs further optimization and improvement, etc. But the author still believe that this research is a well guideline for studying the assisting role of interactive whiteboard in high school mathematics teaching.
