Nowdays, it is a common trend to promote the degree of practices and to strengthen the experiment teaching in physics teaching of middle school, although there are many modes of physics teaching in domestic and foreign schools, which have various forms of course contents, teaching requirements and implementing measures. The experiment teaching has being paid attentions in the aspect of methods and contents by foreign education pioneer and physics teaching researchers, who have obtained valuable experiences and good achievements. However, the experiment teaching in our country is always so insufficient and has no obvious improvements, which is the weak part of physics teaching in middle school. For curriculum reforms of china in recent ten years, the learning plan is one of most noticeable teaching innovation, and it improves the basic education. It would be the teaching mode which can make experiment teaching as the real one based on practices, and make students turn into the learning master of nature.The author has investigated the status of mechanics experiment teaching of two classes of grade one, and practiced the guiding learning case of mechanics experiments through the literature review, questionnaire method, experiment contrast method, operation method and so on education research method. The teaching effects of guiding case of mechanics experiments are compared with those of common teaching of nearly one year. In this paper, based on the theory of constructivism, pragmatism and so on, combining with the characteristics of this discipline, the type, the function, and the design principle of learning case of physics experiments are clarified. All of these can provide some helpful references into the following experiment learning case.In this paper, there are six chapters. The background, the status, the significance, the method and the content of this research are given in chapter 1. The definitions of teaching plan, guiding case of learning and experiment teaching plan are defined into chapter 2. Some theoretical foundations are given in Chapter 3. The type, the function and the design principle of guiding case of learning for physics experiment teaching are introduced in chapter 4. The practicing cases of learning plan for mechanics experiment are analyzed and discussed. The practicing teaching of mechanics experiments is summarized and thought in the last chapter.
