Bullying behavior refers to intentionally causing damages to others, which can be either physically or psychologically.The way of bullying are usually beating, pushing, extortion, etc., but also including telling a dirty story or social exclusion, etc..Bullying can be involved in one or more children.To investigate the universality of bullying behavior thus analyze the causes of bullying then seek strategies to reduce bullying behavior,we have chosen three primary schools in three cities of Henan Province as the participants of this study.This study is consisted of four parts.The first part is a summary of the research.Starting with the reason and significance of the topic,we reviewed the current domestic and foreign research then summarized the theoretical hypothesis generation mechanism of bullying behavior of school and finally we have briefly described the definition, type and role of bullying behavior.The second part is aimed to investigate the universality of three primary schools in three cities of Henan Province. A brief description of the survey is as follows:(1)Consisted with previous study of bullying behavior,our finding shows that 28.3% of the students reported being bullied while there are 10.6% students reported bullying others.(2)From the perspective of the proportion of male and female students involved in bullying behavior,the male students in the primary school are more likely to be involved in the bullying situation than female students.(3)From the perspective of the way of bullying,among all the bullying behaviors,the proportion of abusing and physical violence is higher whereas the unobtrusive extortion also accounted for 13%(4)From the perspective of the places where bullying behaviors occur, the most prone to bullying is the classroom, followed by the playground, corridor and the hall also accounted for 17%,which suggesting that the places of bullying behaviors occurring are relatively scattered in the school and are not easy to find for teachers.(5)From the perspective of the attitude of parents and teachers towards bullying behaviors, there are nearly half of the parents and teachers indulged their children and students with bullying behaviors and will not criticize the bully.(6)From the perspective of social support, the majority of children are more willing to talk to friends about their suffering and half of the students do not to talk to their parents or teachers.The third part is our intervention to improve the current situation of bullying behaviors, which divided into individual and group intervention.Now children generally lack of good imitation of others. So our group intervention mainly uses the Bandura's imitation method which is suitable for group counseling.We have chosen the way of psychological counseling for individual intervention.The fourth part of this paper is the conclusion.In this part we have summarized the achievements, limitations and the future outlook of this study.In short, aiming at reducing bullying behaviors,our research have put forward feasible intervention strategies and suggestions.
