The Research Of Chopping Block’s Protection And Inheritance

With the development of the globalization trend and the change of modern social culture, the intangible cultural heritage in our country is facing a serious survival、protection、inheritance and development crisis. Nation traditional sports culture has a big impact in the tide of "modernization" and "urbanization", Chinese folk traditional sports which is ancient, diverse and pristine is facing marginalized——gradually shrinking even in the danger of disappearing. The topic of protecting and inheriting the Intangible cultural heritage has aroused a wide attention from all walks of life as well as the government. "Chopping block" gyro is proprietary traditional sports of ethnic minorities Dongzhong town, Dongzhong district, Fangchenggang. Now, the project has been the municipal intangible cultural heritage items.From the perspective of anthropology、sociology、folklore theory and methods, the author uses the literature、fieldwork、interview、logic analysis and other methods analyzing the origin、characteristics、function、 Inheritors’ status quo and current situation of the "Chopping block" gyro, besides, putting forward some suggestions about the protection and inheritance’s plight of "Chopping block" gyro and the influence factors.The conclusion as follows:(1) The author knows about and analyzes the basic content and main features of "Chopping block" gyro by field investigation and analysis. "Chopping block" gyro has the following functions:national cohesion、 cultural inheritance、fitness entertainment border harmonious and so on, thus, studying and analyzing the "Chopping block" gyro as the important traditional sports which promotes the cultural exchange between China and Vietnam. The inheritance and protection of "Chopping block" gyro has been influenced by the following factors。(2) the scarce raw material of making "Chopping block" gyro and difficult making process  decreasing public cultural identity and weak public’s sports culture consciousness、the change in people’s lifestyle、the lack of inheritance people and the narrow inheritance path、the impact of foreign sports culture、lack of policy guidance and funding support and so on.(3) The research has shown that the following measures should be taken to protect and inherit the "Chopping block" gyro:improving people’s participation consciousness of protection and inheritance by enhancement of propaganda and education、using the modern technology to make the "Chopping block" gyro-、ng attention to the cultivation and support of the inheritors、Promoting the combination of’Chopping block" gyro and school sports、strengthen international exchanges and cooperation by performance, in addition to this, combined with local characteristics and the integration of tourism industry, etc. Only these measures combine with and promote each other, can "Chopping block" gyro be better protected and promoted.
