The physics history records of the development of physics for thousands of years,also contains the wisdom of physicists? work.With the advancement of new curriculum reform,The history of physics is more and more get the favor of physics teachers and physical education researchers.It is one of the important hot topic in the field of physical education that how to combine the physics history into the physics course in order to give full play to its educational value.This paper explore how to effectively integrate the history of physics in order to promote students? understanding of the scientific connotation in physics teaching in senior high school.In this study,we chose the literature analysis method to analysis of the history of physics into the teaching research,and then briefly describes the theoretical basis of the education of history of physics.In view of the science nature,the author found that high school students should have the nature of Science includes 3 dimensions and 16 specific indicators by analysis of different scholars and educational and research institutions on defining the connotation of nature of science,as follows:Nature of scientific knowledge,including awareness,relativity,cumulative,repetitive,openness and limitations;Nature of scientific inquiry,including empirical,non-authoritative,creative,non-fixed,not an absolute objectivity and predictability;Nature of scientific enterprise,including science and morality,science and technology,science and society,the identity of the scientist.Based on the analysis of the nature of science connotation,we applied to the preparation of this study,"high school students the nature of science Concept Scale."Under the guidance of the above theories,combined with the modern nature of science teaching and teaching high school physics,physics history into physics teaching strategy is proposed,which can be acquired by: set the explicit nature of science teaching goals,set leading questions of a scientific nature,the use of science writing for the students to understand the nature of science.To verify the validity of the theoretical exploration of the history of physics teaching strategies to promote students? understanding of the science nature,we chose the research object and divided it into groups with control and without control carrying out the pretest-posttest study.In the practice of teaching,we select “Galileo's study of free fall”,“Newton's first law” and “theory of gravitation”as teaching cases combined with the ordinary high school physics course standard(experimental)and compulsory teaching high school physics textbook,then prepare the essence of teaching design of science and carry out the teaching experiment for one year.Using the essence of high school students scientific scale,we measure the experimental classes and that in comparative classes students before and after the experiment the changes of the concept of science nature.The SPSS19.0 was used to analyze the data collected,results showed that there is an apparent difference emerging in these respects between these two classes after the trial :the overall average scores significantly higher than the control class.This indicates that based on the study of teaching strategies in fostering high school students to understand the nature of science content is valid.Finally,according to the high school physics teaching,we proposed some constructive suggestions for the physics teaching on promoting the education of history of physics.We also pointed out the existing deficiency in the present research and put forward our proposal for further study.
